MUSICIANS

AL TAIT

A blues aficionado, Al Tait has spent some thirty
years collecting and studying his favourite genre.
As a result, a solid set of musical values has
emerged which influence his solo work and
other musicians he works with.
A veteran of the East Midlands music scene Al is
well qualified to support and meet the creative
challenges of Kevin Buxton's songs.
In addition, writing for top british blues magazine
"Blues Matters" gives Al yet another opportunity
to put his extensive experience to good use.

LUCY KENDALL

A classically trained flautist and pianist, Lucy returned
to live performance early in 2006. Her fine playing and
performance skills quickly established her on the
Northants acoustic scene. As well as playing alongside
her partner Al Tait, she also performs with singer-songwriter
Jo O'Malley, and since early 2007 has worked extensively
with Kevin as flautist and backing vocalist.

CHRIS MATTHEWS

A highly gifted guitarist and recording engineer, as
well as long time friend, Chris has been playing and
recording with Kevin since the late 80s and been highly
influential in his musical development.
After a few years hiatus, their collaboration has restarted
and, with new projects in the pipeline, looks set to continue.
Chris also plays and records with Nick Drake's friend and
associate, Paul Wheeler.
